New moms get overwhelming anxiety over the fear of eating the wrong food during and after pregnancy. Bombarded with information, they end up resorting to simple options as they feel paralysed by all the information.Mothers biggest lack is time. They cut corners on their own health to provide for their child.

Examining the importance of nutrition before, during and ater pregnancy.
BEFORE PREGNANCY
Before pregnancy, proper nutrition is essential from folic acid that prevents neural tube defects to omega-3 fatty acids that promote optimal reproductive health.
DURING PREGNANCY
Nutritional needs change as the baby grows. Iron is vital to accommodating increased blood volume. Additionally, adequate intake of healthy fats permits optimal nervous system development in the fetus.
AFTER
PREGNANCY
After pregnancy, nutrition focuses on recovery and milk production. Calcium for example is essential for both maternal bone health and providing the necessary nutrients for the baby.
