As the sole website developer, the challenge was to create a trustworthy, secure, and intuitive website for Solidarité Ukraine, a grassroots NGO supporting Ukrainians in France - in less than a week. The website needed to handle high levels of traffic due to national coverage, place trust in our hosts and refugees and defend against foreign cyber security attacks.
The website was built to be efficient and universal. The website needed to be seen as trustworthy more than anything else. In order to do so, minimalist structure, clear typography and Ukrainian colors were used.
To inspire trust from the Ukrainians, our website has a page dedicated to answering their questions with testimonials of the Ukrainians already in France.
The reliability of solidarity Ukraine is promoted by displaying all of our news coverage.
Donors are presented with our numerous charity partners to establish reliability.

The website was crucial in granting credibility, reach and funding for the NGO to grow, recruit volunteers, reach displaced Ukrainians, and scale across 6 cities. Solidarity Ukraine reached national coverage (12 different journalist coverage) and was featured in superheroes - a Polish documentary about the current conflict.
